Publication Ethic Statement

Journal of Indigenous Islam (JINDIS) is committed to upholding the highest standards of academic integrity and ethical conduct throughout the publication process. All parties involved—authors, editors, peer reviewers, and publishers—are expected to adhere to the principles of transparency, accountability, and fairness. The journal strictly follows ethical guidelines issued by COPE (Committee on Publication Ethics), including those related to authorship, conflict of interest, plagiarism, data falsification, and duplicate publication. Authors must ensure that their submissions are original, properly cited, and not under consideration elsewhere. Any form of academic misconduct will result in immediate rejection or retraction of the manuscript.

JINDIS employs a rigorous double-blind peer-review process to ensure the quality and impartiality of all published works. Reviewers are required to disclose any potential conflicts of interest and maintain the confidentiality of the review process. Editors are responsible for making fair and objective decisions based solely on the scholarly merit of the submission, without influence from external pressures. In cases of ethical disputes or misconduct, JINDIS will take corrective actions following COPE's flowcharts and recommendations, including the publication of errata, retractions, or expressions of concern where necessary.
